"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak." —Rachel Zoe
Born and raised in northern New Jersey to two immigrant parents, I had an All-American upbringing. Starting in kindergarten, I always found myself drawn to creative endeavors whether it was drawing, painting, singing, or dancing. In middle school, I wanted to try something new and chose to attend a week long fashion camp; the first day campers sketched a design and by the end of the week, each camper had made a completed garment. After this experience, I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer.
My design aesthetic commonly features colorful fabrics, geometric prints, and quirky graphics. I often draw inspiration from places I have visited, my cultural background as well as technology and innovation. During my sophomore year (2016-2017), I studied abroad at Polimoda in Florence, Italy and additionally took a photography class in India (January 2018). I earned my Associate’s degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and in May 2019 graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design (specialization in children’s wear) and minored in Art History and Film and Media Studies.
I’ve interned and worked at a lot of great companies including, but not limited to Levi’s, French Toast, Pink Chicken NY, and Converse. I was previously an assistant designer at The Children’s Place and currently a designer for Lee Jeans Kids.
